SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY: Degree Programs
All degrees conferred by Saint Francis of Assisi Theological Seminary are purely Ecclesiastical degrees for use within the Church. They are not to be confused with accredited Academic degrees from other religious or secular educational institutions.
The principal degree program (and the only one currently available) in the Seminary is that of Sacred Theology.

The first two years of study lead to the degree of: Bachelor of Sacred Theology (S.T.B.)

The third year of study leads to the degree of: Licentiate of Sacred Theology (S.T.L.)

The fourth year of study leads to the degree of: Master of Sacred Theology (S.T.M.)

Study beyond the four year curriculum and involving at least two additional years of study, together with a Doctoral Dissertation and Defense, and a project of advanced research leads to the degree of: Doctor of Sacred Theology (S.T.D.)
